My mission has always been to build people up and show them how to connect with their inner badass. And, well, now it's time for me to do the same for myself. As they say, "You can't pour from an empty cup." 

 

Truth be told, I'm in a bit of a creative renaissance and have been for the better part of a year and a half. Life has life'd all over me, and that's not a complaint. It's simply an acknowledgment of my limitations. By honoring my limits, I honor myself and those I love.

 

I've been defined by the title "PHOTOGRAPHER" for the better part of 30 years, so stepping away is a decision I have not made lightly. I have no idea where this sabbatical will lead me, which is both exhilarating AND terrifying. I have no plans to abandon photography altogether. I just know that what I'm doing now is no longer serving me, and in turn I cannot serve my clients with the level of care they deserve.
