For those who aren't up to speed just yet, this happened:
Yup. We're having another baby girl, and she's due at the end of October. Seeing as it's more than halfway through September, it's safe to say that this official announcement is a little late making it to the blog. But, better late than never, right?
I don't typically share photos of my daughter or much about my personal life - then again, I rarely blog either. Maybe it's the Gen X-er in me or the fact that juggling motherhood, a small business, and a life filled with personal enrichment as an individual, family member, and friend is super difficult at this stage. Whatever the reason, which I guess is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, I'm just now getting this out there for all of you so that you know that when I go radio silent here in the next few weeks, it's not because I fell off the face of the earth but because I'm re-enlisting in Mommy Bootcamp.
I've been incredibly blessed this year in many ways, and one of those ways is through my business. It has continued to grow, and I've had the opportunity to work with some incredible individuals and tell their stories. I truly love what I do, and stepping away for even a few months will be hard. But, it's what I need to do for myself and my family. Starting October 1, I'm no longer booking shoots for 2018 or January 2019. However, I will be checking in occasionally and happy to book sessions starting February 2019 (graduating seniors and business/creative professionals leveling up their headshots in the new year, I'm looking at you!).
