I have photographed Clay and his family (including his two older sisters' freshman AND senior portraits) for years and years, and I'm seriously in disbelief that this day has come - his SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION! WHAT?!
I remember being a young adult working for Angela, Clay's mom, at the business she started while working to start Jen Bertrand Photography back in the day. I also picked up side jobs babysitting for her to help make my rent and save up for my first DSLR. I would pick Clay and his sister up from elementary school, take them back to their house, get them snacks, help with homework, and even get them tucked into bed (sorry to embarrass you, Clay, but I'm also aging myself here) while their parents were working hard in their own businesses. And here we are now - I own MY own business, and Clay is a senior at St. Andrew's Episcopal High School who is getting ready to embark on the next chapter of his life as a young adult. BANANAS!
Okay, okay, so before I go getting all misty-eyed, here are a few sneak peeks from Clay's session shot at the ATX Photo & Video Studio in Austin, Texas. He knocked it out of the park, don't you think? (BAD pun. #sorrynotsorry)
